I read The Witch Elm by Tana French recently, and it is my favorite by her so far. If you're a crime/thriller fan, check it out!

Candice that sounds like an amazing book to read.  Empowering.  I might put that on my book wish list.  Thanks!!

I'm currently reading The Secret History of Wonder Woman by Jill Lepore.  It was a Christmas gift from my husband.  It recounts the story of Wonder Woman's creator and how his own life is reflected in his creation.  William Moulton Marston was involved in the women's movement and he wanted to create a character that helped push that agenda.  It is quite interesting since it is a bit of a history lesson along with a biography.

Celeste, I will definitely let you know if/when I get around to reading them! You make me feel a little better about my list. ;) I'm glad I'm not the only whose list is out of control!

Stephanie, Sarah J. Maas is an author that I've been meaning to read for years! Other series/books have always managed to take precedence for whatever reason. I've heard she's really good, though, and fantasy is my favorite genre. I really need to get to them soon!

I thought about reading the All Souls trilogy.  I remember them being really long.  I try to keep my to-read number low as well.  I absolutely love every book by Sarah J. Maas.  All her books are really long, but they are so good.  She writes fantasy, and I love her books.  I'm reading one now by her.  It is so addicting that I always buy the audiobook so that I can listen in the car or doing chores around the house.  Has anyone else read her books?  I was wondering if you had read them, Celeste to see how these books compare to one of hers.  She is currently my favorite author.

I would love to hear what you all think if/when you read them. I know what you mean about a long to-read list, Rebecca! I use Good Reads and my list is at 386 as of right now.

Celeste, that looks so fascinating! I'm a little scared to add it to my to-read list, though, since it is so long, and my to-read list is already over 200 books. ;) I freely admit I have a problem! But it looks so tempting! Also, it sounds like there's a really cool community that read her books.

Monnie, that expresses my feelings perfectly! The actors in the originals are those characters for me, and it almost feels like sacrilege to watch anyone else in those roles. You were braver than me, though. I haven't even been able to watch one second of it! :)

Celeste, I think I'm going to add those books to my reading list, too! They sound like a lot of fun.

Rebecca, I tried watching the new Anne series. I got about two minutes into it and had to turn it off because I just was not ready to give it a chance yet lol! The original series was just so perfect, I don't know if I will ever be able to watch the new one.

Celeste, those look interesting! It's been SO long since I've sat and read a fun series like that. I'm gonna put it on my list. :)
