No utilities.  This is a 6-unit condominium complex.  It still looks the same except the sliding door area is boarded up.  I evacuated 2 p.m. the day before the 10/29/12 storm.  I took essentials with me when I left:  Machine, laptop, cosmetic bag and important paperwork files.  The two bedrooms upstairs were untouched.  I'm living 60 miles north in the home I grew up in, 30 miles from NYC in NJ.

Omg, that's awful!  I'm so sorry. I'm glad you're okay, though. Those insurance bastards! Can't squeeze a needle out of their asses whenever you make a legitimate claim, but, boy, are they quick to cancel your policy if you're late on payment! I can't believe you haven't been paid!!! Are you able to live in your home?

Yes, it is my home.  The ocean cleaned out the lower level taking everything in its path.  Today, 7/1/13, it still looks the same thanks to the two flood policies that haven't paid yet.

Lori, I hope this isn't/wasn't your home! :(
