I'm still a newer reporter. I absolutely love being a reporter! I have yet to have one of those "nightmare" jobs yet. (Knock on wood) I am currently engaged to the most wonderful man! We are getting married in May of 2009. Basically life is going GREAT!

Has this ever happened to you?

I was in a depo last week (Vol III of who knows how many) when the witness started having a panic attack. She didn't have one or two, but three attacks throughout the day. Not only that, she dumped/spilled her water on the opposing attorney. I'm pretty sure she did this on purpose, bc she told him she hated him right before the water went all over his papers and his lap. Am I supposed to put anything in the transcript regarding this? He didn't say anything about wanting it in there.

Eclipse and MAC

I'm thinking of buying a MAC computer, but I've heard that using Eclipse with a MAC is a huge headache. Also, I'm getting ready to buy an Elan Mira A3. Has anyone had any issues with that machine and Eclipse?

Thanks for your interest. I can do medical jobs, for sure, as I am a medical transcriptionist, also. I can accept jobs via ASCII file and return a correction page to you via E-mail. My rates are reasonable, between $0.30 to 0.35/pg, and my turnaround time for regular rated-jobs is usually five to seven days; if you want jobs sooner, three days or less, that would be an expedited rate at rate and a half. I can read ten pages for free if you want to check out my work. Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi, Jennifer! I vaguely remembering us communicating. Did we ever send you a reporter packet? If we didn't, I need to, and then we can add you to our "approved" list of reporters so you'll be one of the first we call when we have L.A. depos. We'd love to add you to our list because we don't have enough L.A. reporters and could use you, I'm sure, here and there. Please send me your address, if we haven't done this already, and we'll get a packet out to you.

Hi Jennifer, can you email me at, so I can respond with my rate sheet? I am currently staying in the hospital with my husband who had emergency surgery this morning. His appendix ruptured. I will be back at home tomorrow where I have access to all the info I'd like to send you. I'm actually working on a transcript now, so I have my laptop, but no other info on here. I appreciate your interest and hope to hear from you soon.
