I have a Certificate of Completion from the extensive Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice course. I was taught using Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters, Margie Wakeman Wells’s resources, and NCRA guidelines.

Rates

Regular (returned in 48 hours)                 $0.40/page

Rush (returned sooner than 48 hours)     $0.60/page

Daily (returned within 24 hours)              $0.80/page

*If transcript is “dirty” or “messy,” I may add a charge of $0.10/page.

*I do not charge extra for medical/technical transcripts or weekend work. 

New Clients: I am happy to proof the first 15 pages for free on the first job. After that, rates will be as stated above.
