For the past eleven years I have been proofreading for court reporting professionals throughout the United States.  My background is in English and grammar, and I am a seasoned manuscript and manual writer and editor.

When I began proofreading for court reporters, I did a rigorous study of court reporting rules.  I then conducted a survey of over 400 court reporters asking them what they believed were the top two problem areas in the proofreading business. The number one response was, as expected, accuracy and experience. The second was quick turnaround time.

Based on this response, I partnered with Travis Newman, a technical writer, and we developed a top-notch proofreading service for court reporting professionals.  We are dedicated to delivering quality work on time, including "rush" or "expedite" jobs.  We are now a small firm consisting of five of the most experienced and intelligent proofreaders in the United States.

Our standard proofreading charge of 40 cents per page includes a 48-hour turnaround time or less, in most instances, depending upon workload.  We work via e-mail with transcripts transmitted to us in ASCII format.  We return only the corrections to you.

As a team, we are located in different time zones in the United States to better accommodate our customers’ needs.
