I am in the process of starting my business and just need to know the average rates for scoping, transcription, proofing and editing. Maybe someone can provide me with some pointers as well as a sample rate sheet with all these services broken down individually. I would also like some advice on software such as the most popular as well as where to buy used vs. new, etc. I am in the Birmingham, AL area. Thanks to all!
