I received my Gemini Revolution yesterday. Used it today at Grand Jury. I already have the Gemini2, so was not 'too' odd, but was still the talk as everyone asked about it.

As you can see, I took the pockets off my laptop table I got from Stenograph and put it on my machine. Was the only thing I 'missed' today as I was working. It was different dealing with the tablet and Case V8. I am going to invest in a small keyboard tomorrow. I also put my leather keypads on! Can't work w/out those, lol! No critique if they look 'off'...

I had my Case button in a hub at first, and my writing was stacking WAY too much. Moved it to a USB on the tablet and it was fine. Not too many stacking issues that I can see so far, for me. The keys are totally different than my Gemini2. Had to stop myself from trying to hit them as hard, lol. Hardly have to move my fingers and that is cool!

So, day 1 is over and I am excited to go out on my next job w/out my laptop. Took it today, "Just in case".....The whole thing is very light when in the carry case! No more wheels, and when you haul it in the snow, that is a wonderful thing!

The pic shows it w/out being plugged. The tablet only has a 2-3hr life...like a laptop...so that will limit usage w/out being plugged in. But nice for a power outage!

Will be updating....any questions or if you want different pics, let me know.

That's so generous of you, Rhoda. I've e-mailed my friend with a copy of your page. Hope you don't mind my starting a new discussion. I think many of us have selected the option of getting an e-mail whenever there's a new discussion posted. This is big news!

They will be implementing a 'new' site in the next couple weeks, so assuming they will put them there.

I'll be checking the geminiwriter.com website for your pics. If they're smart, they'll post them immediately!

I created pics of how to adjust the keys. Will let them use them at Gemini, lol. I had only a few strokes I want to look into for adjusting keys so far. The "E" and the "A" were the worst. I am impressed at how well I wrote on my Gemini2! It is hard going to another one, but since I used one already, I was not nervous to use it on a job. Gotta start somewhere!

I have Parole Boards on Wednesday and will post thoughts after that job.

I'm so excited for you. Have you found it difficult to adjust the keys? One of my reporter friends has her Rev as well now, but she's still figuring it out. I'm so impressed you started on the job with it so soon! Any details you're willing to share would be fantastic - Jenny

I think I would still have to use my laptop, because it's like a security blanket for me. I kind of like something between me and the witnesses. :-) I looks really nice to work on. Thanks for the info.
