Any other "Dogpile" Lovers on CSR Nation?

Well, I queried on CSR Nation to find a few other mentions of my favorite search engine, Dogpile, which is (in case you haven't heard of it before) a metasearch engine that searches Google, Yahoo, Ask, etc. and brings back the best results from ALL of these!

And, no, it's not some stinky mess or whatever like I know several people have thought when I mentioned its name.......... which, of course, led me to wondering just exactly "how" did they actually come up with such a name for such a great search engine.......which lead me to a story about just that:

The Dogpile name, although uncorraborated, was most likely a humorous play on words to reference the search engine's ability to take in a whole lot of data, digest it, and use it to create useful information while disposing of the rest. Read more....

In any event, I thought I would share my find of such a great search engine because I use it ALL the time in my scoping research and I'm sure many others here would find it useful too. Plus, they always have such fun graphics, etc. that are constantly changing! It's a cool search engine that does a fantastic job and I am not "affiliated" with it -- I just like it!

I just tested my link to the story about it's creation and see it's not working and I can't seem to get it to work either. Will have to investigate and get back.

I have the toolbar and use it as my home page too. So I'm not sure if Arfie is attached to the toolbar but I know if you run a search for a doc from your start button (and have dogpile as your home page), there is the cutest Arfie that appears and reads a book, flipping through many pages whenever it's an in-depth search, or sniffs the ground while he's sniffing out your file and, finally, brings you the bone when he finds the file......so cute! I love it!

Yeah! We have a group of 2 so far. Did you ever wonder about how they came up with the name?
