Hi Teresa,
Okay. I will be calling you soon. If you would like to call me, please do so. 818- 439 5022 or email me denisecrotzer@gmail.com. I have a job on Thursday and will (if you are avaialble) send out. We shall talk before then.
Lol! Thanks, Teresa. You can see I'm not very comfortable in front of a camera. It either looks like a mug shot or super cheesy. I guess I'll have to stick to court reporting since modeling isn't in my future :P
I got your message. Let me know when you're planning to get together. I'd love to catch up with you.
Hope you're doing well!
Hi, Teresa. As far as interrupting, I usually don't ask attorneys to slow down, but I do ask witnesses to slow down sometimes. Most of the time when I interrupt it's because I didn't hear what someone said or when two (or more) people are speaking at the same time. However, during a break, I have made comments to attorneys like, "Wow, you have me at the edge of my seat!" or "You've really got my fingers working today!" Of course I say it lightheartedly just to get it across to the attorneys in a nonoffensive way that they are speaking too quickly. As for the witnesses, I just say, "You really need to slow down so I can be sure to take down everything you're saying," and about 75% of the time, the attorney will back me up and ask the witness to slow down as well. I hope this helps! :-)
Hi, Teresa! Congratulations on your new job! That's great. So how did it go? It's so funny that you contacted me because I was just thinking about you and wondering if you took the CSR test last month. How did that go? Well, it was wonderful to hear from you and hope to hear from you again soon.
I have tried leaving comments twice. I think my fingers are just flying too fast, I'm not doing this right. So glad to hear you're working now. Yes, interrupt when you need to in a professional manner. Talk to the judge during recess or the attorneys and say, "Can you please slow down when you are reading unless I am given a copy, I'll be fine." Or during recess talk to them and tell them how you fell they may be speaking a little fast today, if they can please slow it down just a bit. Everyone has been so willing to help me out with that. I'll pray for boldness in a professional manner, because I still need that sometimes too. Best wishes!
Hi, Teresa. Oh, my... I'm reading that you've started doing hearings. That's excellent news, my friend! It's awesome that you're applying those skills that I've seen you working hard at. Yeahhhh!!!!
My state of mind right now? I'm super excited about going to the NCRA Convention next week. I hope to come back really inspired and with some new tricks because I need all the help I can get. :)
We miss you, and we're waiting for more good news from all of you guys!
Hey Teresa,

I'm glad your first job went well. I'm still sitting out -- mostly because I'm still saving to buy software -- but I'm hoping to start soon.
I hope you're doing well :)
I sent my 40-page transcript to Loretta yesterday. I'm not really clear on how to move forward yet -- and frankly, I'm still nervous about it -- but hopefully, I'll be getting started soon. I'll probably keep sitting out for at least another week or two.
