Thanks Jenny...

I finally added a photo....I took the CSR exam in 1975....not too many of us back then in the Jurassic period:-) One day I will wear this outfit to a depo. Let them try to take me seriously then!

Hi Jenny, Wow, I'm just getting around in this site, but it looks like a great resource.

lazily. I need to start some laundry and get it outside because it it SORGEOUS out there! I really should have gone ahead and posted the reminder on CRF -- I just thought it was too late to bother, especially for East Coasters. I have a 75-pgr to get done for JAINL by tomorrow, so I need ot hit that too. bleh!

Thanks Jenny,
Will do! I have been SO busy the past week or two! Played catch up, lol. Next week I go out Tues-thurs! So hoping my bag is here Monday, lol! I love red! Now it will motivate me to get my new wool coat in red next winter. Then, my machine will match my car and my coat will match my bag?? LOL!

Five Little Peppers? We had a book when we were kids called The Five Little Peppers and How They Grew. Is this based on the same thing that you're talking about? There were Polly, Ben, Phronsie, and two more boys whose names I can't remember (Jason maybe? Eric?). There was a cake-baking project for Momsie(?), the mother, but no eggs (a look of horror crossed Polly's face at the thought), raisins were borrowed from a neighbor (maybe?) and cinnamon. Fresh flowers were used to hide the blackened top from the temperamental "black witch" stove.

Amazing what comes back from a beloved book, even when it hasn't been read in decades!

Hey, Jenny, thanks for the wealth of information on the CRR. You did a great job compiling it, and couldn't have missed anything! I'm going to respond to your e-mail more in-depth when I get a chance. Just got a call to report tomorrow and have a deadline looming as well. Looks like it will be crazy until Tuesday. Au Revoir for now.

Hi Jenny! I haven't made any progress on Eclipse at all. My grandson came over and wore me out. He's 2. It was the wrestling that really got me. Whew! Well, the babbling, too....I can still hear him. I don't think he shut up once for 9 hrs straight. We went to the park to see the windmill yesterday, and he made me walk with him around it 8 times! (There's a windmill in Thomas the Train.) I need to turn my attention back to my work...in just a minute...just a minute....
Have a great week!

Yeah, the "vacaton" was great. We stayed at our friend Dan's house. So thank goodness it costs nothing to stay there! And he owns the Pinecrest Market, so we even eat & drink for FREE! Gotta love THAT! Yeah, it sure is beautiful here & I'll catch up on my Vit. D at the game today. You be sure to do the same - even if just for a little bit! :)

I'm crazy busy right now, as well. My husband STILL has not found a job, so I've been working a TON! Being the breadwinner sucks! :) My life as a part-time court reporter & going to all my son's games was WAY more fun!!!

Jenny, a short, quick note is fine anytime! I had typed a long e-mail to someone the other day & hit the wrong arrow key & it does page over on this Lenovo or something, no idea where it went....arrrrghhh!

Yes, I definitely plan to go for the CRR. I have some loose ends, though, right now. I passed the lit. & jury on the RMR, but missed the Q&A, and the written by 1 point! Double arrrghhh! And now of course we need to sit for the written separate from machine, so I'll have to pay two fees for each of those segments & separate testings. Excuses, excuses...I had just switched from my old Stentura 8000 to the Cybra and wasn't feeling real confident about it. Stentura had shorted out, so sent it away. I must find the right machine for me soon and settle down with it long enough for it to feel comfortable! Now, that I had sent the LS away, I'm fairly used to my Cybra again. My writing looks so much better again, but I can feel the soreness creeping back in again, which is when I start daydreaming about the Revo. I want to believe, sister! I want to believe that it could be my perfect machine.

Then, enter the negative comments about it floating around on the forums. I wouldn't be getting the tablet, so I guess that would be one less issue for me. It's too bad if they haven't fixed that compatibility issue yet between writer and tablet. I know I read something about it needed to be fully charged in the past or there were issues of gibberish coming up. It's hearing about horrible stacking on the past models that's caused me to hold off on placing that order. If it stacks like crazy, I'd have to keep pounding it out on the Cybra if that were the case, $2,500 poorer and with sore hands and wrists. Sounds like you're in the same boat and worse, not being able to go for long periods anymore. I'm putting many hours on the machine per week, so seems ergo would be the answer for me now and long term.

Anyway, after all of the babbling, here's where I am now. Thinking it's worth a try again, restocking fee and all. I'm interested enough in the light touch and adjustability options, including minimal depth of stroke which are supposed to be possible. The ....was it class 1? ....bluetooth sounds awesome, which is supposed to be instant w/o any delay, such as Stenocast was for me. Made that go away, too!

Jason stated other than two units, which were among the first production models had to be sent back for some tweaking. Otherwise, no one has sent back their revo to this point. Did you know the wait is at 12 weeks now to get it?

Thanks for offering tips on the CRR. I could use any/and all you've got! I'm planning to do the realtime coach on NCRA for some CE credits and hoping it will make a difference. My goal is to break into captioning eventually. So send those tips on over! The word strategic, eh?

If you can find out anything about stacking or feel of the writer issues, noise (which apparently they've worked out) ASAP, let me know before I sign the dotted line with Jason. I told him to fax the order form over today along with more questions regarding warranties, etc.

Where were you thinking of relocating to if you did?
