Jenny, You passed the dang test two years, at least, before I did and you look at lot younger!!!
But I think you need a bigger desk, judging by the pic above!! I love it. I'm on CaseCatalyst and love it. It's all in what we get used to, I suppose. Anything that makes this job easier is good enough for me! Talk soon.
I graduated from there in 1980. I took the exam and didn't pass. I went back to school last year and will be taking my exam next month. When did you graduate?
I just read your RT macro post on Lisa's page. Now that I'm back in a production courtroom, I hope Procat has gotten with it. They had no idea what I was talking about two years ago when I asked about RT marcos.
I'm going to put that on my list of things to get done this week. Call them and see. If not, boy, it's gonna be hard not making the switch over to Eclipse. I think that's so basic. Mk was talking about using them (DigitalCat, I think) way back when I read his "My System" book back in about 2000.
I know it would be a blast for me, too. I already write all the fix-it strokes and notes to myself and the judge. I could easily turn them into macros.
Actually, in the early years I used a notereader, and she lived for all my editorial comments.
"Lisa, you should see this guy now. He's lying through his teeth!!!"
"OMG, if he says "okay" one more time, I'm gonna scream!"
"If this guy could frame at least one question correctly, it sure would make my life a lot easier."
Too much fun!!
Then I actually job shared with another official who lost her judge. She was my closest friend at the time, and she was going to quit, and I just couldn't have it. So I split my job with her and started a little depo "agency" at the time. It was only for about six months until a new judge was appointed, but . . .
We'd go into the jury room and read back each other's notes. She had started the same school as me about six months earlier, so her notes were pretty much identical to mine. We got a few similar chuckles then, too.
Got me my massagee-waugee at 9 this morning. I feel all tuned up and ready for another week. That girl just gets in there. It's so nice! (Holding back aliens!)

What a day. email me when you recover. I'll be in deps most of the day tomorrow, but on in the evening, of course.

Nobody teased me. Sometimes I just ask myself, "Did that really just come out of your mouth?"
My fingers are just as bad. :)
I must have an alien inside. :)
I get to go see bruiser tomorrow. This time I'll try to keep my mouth shut as to where the next bruise erupts.
Hang in there. Listen to your body. I never did, but I really am doing so now. It's necessity, I tell ya!
Have a great weekend!
(I must be working too hard.)
Mine's gonna be plain green for the year. :)
I did a bit of crocheting myself before CR school. Haven't done any since. I wasn't fast, but I'd say I was accurate. :)
Slow hands??
I need to check out my post about inflected endings still to see what you posted. Haven't gotten there for a couple days.
Hope you're having a great week! Got a three-day weekend coming up -- paid! -- so that always makes me happy.
