Hey, Jill. It was nice chatting with you. I'm not sure if you got my last response, but I'm heading out to make dinner and didn't want you to think I was being unfriendly :) See you around the board!
Bonjour, mon ami! How are classes going? There are two 80/100 classes and you have been exiled to our class and your friends are in the other class! (I think! Some of my friends wound up there, too!) Oh, well, we will make it fun!
Trip was good. Not much to do on that little island, I must say, but relax & get tan, which is Exactly what we did. It was cool though cause my GF & I got to catch up, since we don't see each other enough...and eat good food. Hope your summer is going well
Hey Jill! Yep - I'm enjoying the week!! Woo hooo! No bein up at 4:30 to do steno and living in my cave of a bedroom in the evenings - my friends all know I'm alive now.
hey! I'm like hunkering down - we only have one week left of this semester - so you know how that goes! How's your life and school?! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a few days off!
Hey Chicky Mama! Got your message. I am moving on to speed. Actually can't wait. Ready to be done with the whole thing! You up to 80 yet? I've been playing catch up all quarter since I got put back in late and still struggling with speed. Be glad to just have that to focus on next quarter. I'm ready for it!
Hey Jill, what's up! Thanks so much for letting us know about this page..I have been having some computer problems so I'm sorry it took me so long to respond.
LOL! You're too funny! What's your "other job"? At this point, steno has practically taken over my life and reporting to work is restful. Have a bench trial going on today, so I'm in the office puttering.
Oh, I just love Mr. Sadler - he is always so prepared for class and puts so much work into it! And, being positive helps. You know, I keep seeing things about a 97% attrition rate -- I don't think he has much attrition in his classes - he keeps everyone going. Hope I get him next semester!
oops -- that didn't work too well (not enough coffee)-- I just love CRID, too! I'm in class with Mr. Sadler - awesome teacher - he's so incredibly positive and just keeps you pumped up and going! I'm really glad I decided on CRID because the staff is really terrific and my classmates are beyond wonderful!
Oh, I decided to tackle court reporting because if my judge ever retires, I'm out of work! Paralegals don't get paid squat in New Mexico! And, frankly, reporting is what I always wanted to do but I lived in an isolated area and couldn't get to a school (at the time I wanted to go, I would have had to leave and go to school in Dallas, Phoenix or LA) and then I got married......you know the story.....So, I'm doing it now.
You're by Shreveport, aren't you? It's been a long time since I've been in the northern part of Louisiana, but I think I remember that - near the Texas border? (Anything 300 miles or closer is "near the border"!) - By the way, silly, Avery Island isn't an island and it's where they make TABASCO and it's near Lafayette and the reason we go there is because the McIlhenney's wife is friends of the teacher and the teacher got displaced during Katrina ..... so I guess I will do my retreat there!
