You're too funny.  You know, I am a runner too.  I used my older tennis shoes that I don't run in anymore.  I also used last weekend the five-fingered shoes.   I got a blister from using them, but I think it's just because I'm not used to them.

Last question:  What shoes are you using?  Sounds like a dumb question but my running shoes I don't think are the best for this.  I"m back to scoping at two miles an hours!!  :)  Probably gonna buy walking shoes tomorrow.  Any suggestions are appreciated.  This is the best thing since caller ID!

It's built really well too.  Got 30 more pages to proof.  Have been walking for two hours and 22 minutes, walked 6.9 miles and burned 500 calories.  Can't beat that.

Found LifeSpan 1200 Treadmill desk on Amazon.  I think that's the one you have.  Read lots of great comments about it.  Well worth it.  Great idea!  :)

There is a Treadmill desk discussion in the discussion posts and a link to where I bought it.  I got it on Amazon for around 1300.  I'm on it right now and I do 3.0.  I am totally sweating.  Got 100 more pages to go.

Kelli, what speed do you walk?   I proofed for an hour and  a half walking at two miles an hour.  I loved it!  My doggie Marley was confused.  Usually at my feet she kept sniffing the treadmill and giving me a funny look.  She finally gave up and went downstairs.  I'm looking online at adjustable sit/stand desks.  Where did you buy your desk?  Thanks!!

You've inspired me too, Kelli. And, Judy, thanks for the research.  I am going to purchase one of those too.  I have a treadmill begging for some more use, and I think this will really help me.  You guys are great!

Last Sunday I walked for four and a half hours, burned 1,000 calories and walked over 10 miles all while editing a 280 page expedite.  That's pretty cool.  Normally I'd just be sitting on my butt doing that.

You're welcome, Judy.  It's just this job is so sedentary and as we get older, any type of exercise is helpful.  If you can do both at the same time, what a great idea!!  Anyway, welcome aboard.  You should post some pics of your new healthy setup since you've joined the healthy bandwagon!!

Well, you inspired me, Kelli.  I need to start exercising.  We have an elliptical trainer at the house, so it really shouldn't be an issue.  My problem is it's just sooooo boring.  So because of you I decided to see if I could proofread on paper while going a slow speed.  As long as there's not a ton of corrections, it's do-able, and the time flies!  The biggest problem is what to do with the just-read sheet.  So I purchased this http://www.amazon.com/SurfShelf-Treadmill-Desk-Laptop-Holder/dp/B00....  Supposedly it works with our model of trainer.  Yea!  Thanks for the idea, Kelli.
