I was updating my iPhone and it froze. I'm lost without my iPhone. I have an appointment Saturday to unlock it. I tried everything to unlock. The iTune error message I received is 1604 and 13 which appear to be USB problems. The Apple support tech was very nice. Presently my phone is in the recovery mode: picture of the iTune's logo and USB port.
This is the first time I have had to contact Apple. I used the "Expert Call Back." I requested to have a call back "Now." Amazing, because support tech called me back immediately. They guarantee they'll call you back in one minute if you select that feature. Anyway, I just wanted to share that experience.
I just wanted to give a shout out to the Apple Store. I went to the one in Manhattan Village in California. The service was excellent. My cable wasn't strong enough for the download I was attempting. I bought an inexpensive charger over the Internet. My phone is working again, and I am very happy. From what I can see, Apple gives a lot of support. The store was very crowded with people receiving one-on-one training lessons. I was very impressed.
