I was thinking of trying to find some double-sided tape or the stuff used for scrapbooks. I will check out DepoBook -- thanks!
I was wondering about the review padding. I downloaded the free version of the Jot Pro just to see what I think of it, will probably go with the ScannerPro if it's worth the extra few bucks.
Comment by Patricia Harris Vernon on February 3, 2012 at 20:40 As an added thought, I usually go by you get what you pay for as to the difference in price. I would suggest to read some of the reviews, keeping in mind that sometimes the develpers pad their "good" reviews on purpose
Comment by Patricia Harris Vernon on February 3, 2012 at 20:38 I got the ScannerPro (FYI, one word). It is just easier to use, and I think the colors, clarity is better than the Scan to PDF is. I use them interchangeably -- whichever one I get first. But I will grab the SP first if I can.
Also -- on the business cards, I use a stickem product from DepoBook that works w/out adding a lot of bulk. It's like a double-side glue. Put it on one side of the card, remove the backing, stick to your paperwork. I also supply that on the back of my cards -- attns stick it to their paperwork and don't lose my card or name (GRIN). It comes in a package separate from their exhibit book or deposition book.
Did you get the one that is Scanner Pro for $6.99? There's also Jot Pro for $3.99, wonder how they compare. This is great for when they don't let you take the exhibits with you and they were quoting from them. I've tried just taking pics but they're not clear enough to read. That's the one thing that was better on my Android -- took amazing pics of exhibits.
Kelli, with the business cards -- I started carrying a mini stapler and/or tape dispenser. I just staple or tape the cards to my worksheet. I wish I had thought of it years ago!
Thanks, ladies :-)
Comment by Patricia Harris Vernon on February 3, 2012 at 17:09 Actually I have ScannerPro for that as well as Scan To PDF. I prefer the ScannerPro for the ease of use and the clear scan. I've used it for exhibits, and you can then e-mail to whomever as a .pdf document. They both have a leveler on them to help you get it level for a straight picture.
Comment by Lisa Lynch on February 3, 2012 at 17:08 Haha. Thanks for the heads-up.
I did get MagLight, which is a magnifying (or zoom) lens that works great, and it has a light on it that is great for walking in the dark or when looking for something in my purse.
So maybe just use the camera; right?
Comment by Wynne A. Pauly on February 3, 2012 at 16:59 There are several scanning apps. I downloaded several. All they did was open the camera lens (that's already there). So then I felt really silly.
