Welcome to CSR Nation
I'm looking for a computer and not sure what to get. I've always had Dells, and I currently have one that is 2 years old with problems. At this time, Dell is sending a tech out to give me a rebuilt hard drive. I'm not happy. So does anyone have any computer suggestions? I'm currently on Case Catalyst.

I would load my CAT software on the computer and test out the audio through my CC or Eclipse, just like if you were at a depo and see how it sounds. Sometimes recording it through the actual CAT software gives a different quality recording than just recording on the Windows software.
I have had great luck with Toshibas (but that computer is five years old.) A couple years ago I tried an HP and it was terrible. i returned it. I now have a Sony that does a good job but I do use an external mic, the high gain mic that is sold by Martel. My scopists say that I have really good audio. I think I do too but I don't know how my audio compares to other people's.
