Captioners, Are there any captioners on this site???

I think there's even a group on here for captioners.  I saw it a while back.  Forgive me but there are over 180 groups on this site and hard to remember them all.

Wow, there's 77 members in the CART/captioners' group.  Tons of conversation in there, too.  Amazing what goes on that you don't even know about here, especially with so many groups.  Janiece, I'm sure you can find all sorts of useful info there.

Yes, Kelli, I have found some great info.  I'm going to read back through the old posts when I have time.  I found out about another group through there on Yahoo that I think will be helpful also.

Are you thinking about captioning?  I just took a four-month course through www.realtimefitnessonline.com taught by Judy Brentano.  There is an online class one evening a month.  There are homework assignments each week and tests once a month.  I really enjoyed the class.  It certainly has improved my writing and stamina.  I'm finding depositions easier now after building my stamina.  You also get approx 29 credit hours towards your NCRA CEUs.  I'd definitely recommend it if you're thinking of captioning.
