Helen Pasewark here. I just got an appeal notice yesterday and you are on it with me. E-mail me at akacsr@aol.com when you get this so we can communicate.
Dang, Cynthia! I saw you walk out after the second test was given and that was the first time I saw that you were there. Dagnabbit! Sorry we couldn't say hi. I was looking around the room before we began to see if I recognized anybody, but I guess I missed you. I typed the second test because I felt much better about that one. I was more relaxed and focused. Sure did feel like a good one, so we'll see in December if it was or not. 50 errors can add up quickly. If I don't pass, then plan B is to take the RPR in May. I think I'll focus on the speed first and then do academics. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I'm finally on. I just got done reading Casey's blog about my first CSR experience. Man, that brought back memories. I'm so glad I don't have to go back there ever again!
Sorry to hear about your son's grandfather. I'll let you know when I'm back in town so maybe we could get together. Do you ever go to any of the events that Marla puts together?
Glad to be a friend. I originally started my theory at Cypress College, then went on to Lee College. When they closed the school, we all were welcomed at SCC where I finally passed the CSR. Suzi Chiaravallotti (former Lee College & SCC teacher) is my neighbor and a good friend. Keep me posted when you get hired for LA.
hello cynthia! nice to hear from you. i took the l.a. test but didn't pass the proofreading. what a shock because I have had no probs passing that type of test in the past. so onward i go and i'll try next year. i haven't pro temp'd yet either. so my end is just depos for now. good luck on your results and I hope you get hired.
That's great about you passing the proofreading portion! Good luck with the interview. I thought I might bump into you at the conference this last weekend. I went because I needed to get my CEUs. I'm really glad I did. It was an awesome conference. I'm living in Vegas right now, but I go back and forth between Vegas and California for work. It's hot out in Vegas, so work tends to be a little slow. We're looking to move back soon.
