I have always used cables for realtime. I have two loaner computers that I always seem to be using and haven't hooked up to an attorney's computer in I can't remember how long. I use CaseView and…Continue

Anyone heard this? I'm trying to find a moment to call someone at LiveNote and see if this is true. That would be so great, if it's possible.Continue

You can use the blue with Bridge, but it won't refresh. I believe you have to use the CaseView settings in Bridge.
I thought I remembered someone mentioning that the blue dongles will work with Bridge (I have Eclipse and Stenocast RED), but Bridge will not refresh. Am I remembering this correctly? Thanks. I could test it for myself, I suppose, but I'm too lazy right now to have to take out all my stuff to set up and test. :)
I have 3 Stenocast blue EZ receivers (Ver 5) that I am selling. You can send them in to have them reprogrammed to work with your Stenocast box.
Does the Judge's computer have a CD drive? If so, the drivers should be on a CD that came with your Me2U. If not, you can copy the drivers onto a USB stick and install them on the Judge's computer that way.
Now I just have to find the online manual and figure out the hook up and the settings for Stenocast. I wonder why they didn't include that in the package?
Thank you, Lori! I'm averaging about a 98.2 and really need to clean up my dictionary some more. I do try very hard to write real time every time. 99.5 is a noble goal. I think we do have an advantage at knowing what we know that we would amaze at 95% lol, but certainly, not good enough for all of us who care. I would love to get more all-day jobs or multi-days, haven't had the pleasure yet, but did get lucky and got to do a couple of court trials. Need to figure out how to hook up the judge.
Congratulations on your great intentions! We need new up-and-coming realtime reporters to keep this profession a "profession." My suggestion is always write realtime from your steno to your laptop, and when you get to a percentage that is readable all the time by the attorneys (I think I may be a little too adamant about 99.5+ percent, but that's up for opinion) start doing some free half-day or first-day realtime out put to clients, especially when you have multi-day jobs ... get 'em hooked, and ask them for feedback ... JUST DO IT. Thanks so much for keeping the hope alive for the court reporting professoin.
Hi new to the group. I am interested in getting started in real time. I've been reporting for about 1 1/2 years and use a real time, conflict-free theory. I have recently purchased my Stenocast, Me2U and want to start practicing. I don't have the funds yet to involved myself in formal training, but my goal, ultimately, is to get my CRR. I'm going to try and hook it up this weekend and see if I can get it up and running. Any thoughts for direction?
