(Partial?) RPR results available online..how did I not know this?

So I got onto the depoman forums last night and couldn't believe it when I read that people were getting their RPR machine results from the NCRA site. Maybe I'm somehow the last person to find this out, but if you log into NCRA's site, some people have results posted under the "CEU's" section. It's on the full history transcript, I think.

On that note, I read that I passed the Jury Charge!

From the depoman thread, I also understand that not all the passes have been posted, and that there are regrades and things of that nature for people who are close, so not finding a passing score doesn't necessarily equate to a fail. I'll still have to wait until the end of the month for my scores on the Lit and QA, I guess. I'm hopeful for my chances in November, though!

The depoman thread can be found here:

Just wanted to throw that out there to anybody else who took it but didn't know results could be read online already.

Don't worry about it. The written part is based on general knowledge. If you read the newspaper a lot, and read the Wall Street Journal, have a good medical and legal background, you should be okay. As for the machine part, I took it back in 1981, and I passed the machine part before I got out of court reporting school.

If you don't pass, then you can work in Florida!!!
Get the RPR prep book from NCRA. It has practice questions, general English rules, etc., and it gives you a great idea of what will be on the actual test.

My boy is now an RPR. WOO-HOO!!
OMG! I guess I must be the last one to know, because I just found out because of you that I PASSED ALL THREE LEGS!!! The lamest thing ever is that I didn't take the written.. so I have to take it next month. And as I understand it, I won't get my actual RPR until September. Thanks, Mike!
Congrats!!!! Glad it was useful to somebody!

I actually got the full results in the mail the morning after posting this. I missed the Lit by 3, and as suspected, a "72+" for the QA. Still, I pretty much knew I was going to take it again in November, so I feel pretty good about it overall.

Don't know if you saw my post about grammar practice tests, but this site helped me study for my written: http://www.csrnation.com/forum/topics/grammar-practice-tests

Good luck! I'm sure you'll do fine.
Thanks for posting this! Found out I passed too :) I do highly recommend getting the prep books from NCRA. Unless you are one of those who feels she/he can slide by the seat of her/his pants, just get them and put in the time. Plus they're a good brush-up on medical and vocab, etc., anyway. Some of the questions that threw me a little were procedural, specifically as they related to court reporters who work in court. Be sure and order the mock tests as well. They really helped.
Congratulations on the jury charge, Mike! I'm planning to try in November, and I'll definitely be using the grammar site you posted. Thanks again for that. :)
