Here's how I do them:

UPLT - ultimate

LUPLT - ultimately

LAOUMT - ultimatum

See if MAULT or MAILT or AULT conflicts with anything in your dictionary.

I think I do:

KWIVL = unequivocal

KWIVL/LI = unequivocally

Anyone have a brief for ultimatum.  I was writing that in 3 strokes.

I like DWED too. It will take me some time to get that right and for it to come naturally. Took me seems like forever to change to H- instead of -D for "had," but I've finally got it now.

The only way I can learn a new/changed brief quickly is to just delete the old entry, and when I see it come up wrong, it will drive me crazy and is a visual reminder to not write it that way anymore.

I like your idea, Janet.  That's good.

Comment by Janiece Young on March 13, 2012 at 16:57

Quyen,

You are so right.  Sorry, I forgot.  I write he had w/t asterisk.

He had =  HAO*ED

heed    =  HAOED

Ed       =  E*d

what about AO*ED for ed as in education?

Comment by Janet on March 13, 2012 at 16:55

Mark Kislingbury writes Edward DWARD.  I decided to write Ed DWED instead of *ED.  I never felt comfortable with that stroke.

Comment by Quyen on March 13, 2012 at 16:52

HAOED = heed

Janiece, how do you write "heed"?

Comment by Janiece Young on March 13, 2012 at 16:50

Quyen,

I write he had HAOED.

Ed  =  E*D

You could do AOED for ed, I suppose.
