Occasional SoCal CSR Outings:

To receive invitations to the Occasional SoCal CSR Outings, email me at The several we've had so far have been a lot of fun. Different people come all the time. Networking is really worthwhile in our stressful job. It's amazing how many supportive, helpful people we have in our profession. That's why getting out and meeting other reporters is so important. All are welcome.

Yes, Christine. I think you can do hearings without it.

This may sound like a stupid question, but just wanted to make sure...

You *MUST* have a CSR license to work as an official or freelance reporter in California, correct?

Thanks in advance for your help!

what city is theADCB lounge located in?
Comment by Marla Sharp on September 28, 2009 at 16:44
I sure did! A great group of people came out for this one. And the wireless realtime demo by StenoCast went well. Drinks and appetizers were half price, which was nice.

I was told about a special the ADCB Lounge has on Fridays where between 1 and 4 drinks and food are $5. So I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a Friday afternoon outing?!?

I am so sick of hearing our window air-conditioner here at home!! I want fresh air! We had a few days of beautiful weather, and now the icky heat is back. I want to wear sweaters!!!!
Comment by Heidi Johnson on September 18, 2009 at 18:50
well, it looks like I got my portable air conditioner just in time, Lisa! but I hadn't known that news about the upcoming heat wave.....just when I thought I could start wearing my sweaters with skirts again.....
