Stephanie, I have StenoCast RED that I use with the Grand. Not that I have done any of that for real - just practice.
Since my iPaq went weird on me, I have been using Bluetooth with the Stenosync program loaded on one of my Acer aspire once so I can at least have a hard copy of the note file in case something goes wrong with my regular laptop.
I'm very curious to hear back from you as to the Toshiba, Bluetooth and Bridge. Thanks for keeping me in the loop.
the huge white cat is my mom's. One of her four cats. His name is Roger, and he is bigger than ever. I just came back from visiting him and mom yesterday.
I am going through a few e-mails I had flagged this morning, and I came across your post to me regarding how you were tweaking your Grand. I just thought I would check up on you as I have my own Grand now and I am still experiencing some issues with it.
You had told me to make a stacking key less sensitive, and I have been doing that. However, I am still experiencing stacking. Not a lot, but enough to make me frustrated. I also cannot get my final T dialed in to where it is registering all the time.
So how has your Grand been treating you these days? I tried writing on a Stentura 8000 two days ago, which was set up next to my Grand. I felt so claustrophobic and cramped up on the Stentura. It really was a terrible feeling. If only I could conquer this stacking situation! Any further words of advice for me?
Wow, thanks so much for all the info. I'm copying your post for my friend in TX with the Grand, and I'm sending Rhoda over here to read it. I think I was tackling too much yesterday which was why I backed off and essentially started over. I'm forcing myself to work on my one depo for a bit and then will try adjusting again. So far I'm not dealing with stacks - knock wood!

Stephanie, I've got the Piper sitting right here. I got it in October '05, but never could get it to write without stacking and missing letters! Oh, the frustration! So if I get the Grand, I'm technically upgrading. I met Jason at the Anita Paul Realtime seminar in San Jose in August '05 and ordered it then. I have the iPaq. I went through at least three keyboards. I have the quiet touch one. Is that what you have? And I think the shortest keyboard, although I'd have to check on that. It's in an email somewhere. So you've been using the Piper for a while???
Yes, I may need to ask you for some help. Thanks so much for offering!
Hi, Stephanie! I've just been tweaking my Grand loaner. When my eyes started to cross, I had to take a two-hour nap! Just got up and am having tea. Picking up the wrench in a few! I'm on Eclipse too. I'm curious to hear about your Grand experience. Have you been using a Stentura? Do tell when you get a chance - Jenny
