I forgot to answer your other question. I'm working on a 160 Lit, 180 Jury and QA, but I'm mostly focused on the 160 lit. I better get a move on these finger drills this morning before it gets too hot and I get lazy and find reasons not to do them. =) Take Care.
Hello, Trinity, that's great that you'll soon have a little more time to practice. I bet it's kind of bittersweet having your baby go off to school yet having just a little more time for practice. I think it'll be fine. Sounds like you know what you need to do and so now it's a matter of time management and catching up. CCR is my first courtreporting school. I started in October 2007 and have never taken any breaks since then. This is my first time repeating a course, the 140/160 but it was somewhat expected. I definitely think attending the I-classes has its benefits over just listening to a recording in that you are under a little more pressure to focus and do your best because you have to read back in front of others and of course challenge yourself to see how well you did. Have you had an opportunity to attend some I-classes? Well let me know how everything works out for you. You're not alone in not getting all of your 12 hours a week btw. You can also contact me through the school's email account. talk to you later!
Hi, Trinity! Thanks for adding me as a friend. I've been practicing but not as much as I should or usually would because of certain distractions, but I'm going to try and be more focused now as I'm literally one test away. How's school going for you? Pass anything from test marathon?
