Thanks for accepting my invite and thanks for wishing us well. I'm staying in Mindanao, so the two successive typhoons that hit Metro Manila and the northern part of the Philippines was not much felt in my place.
My relatives, friends and former colleagues in Manila, however, were not spared. A good friend who is also a scopist narrated how she and her family had to immediately leave the house because the flood was alarmingly getting higher fast. She was not able to saving any belongings but for her CaseCat key.
What kind of shook us in Mindanao were the earthquakes. It wasn't deadly enough to cost lives, but our neighboring towns had reported of collapsed homes.
Anyway, so much for the depressing stuff. Despite the calamities, we are all just thankful for the support and the help extended by other nations and the Filipino communities abroad. Thank you all!
Hi Christine,
Thank you so much for the birthday wishes - I've been remiss in not saying thanks before now, but haven't spent much time on CSRnation lately, but that's about to change :)

Earl,
I would be glad to talk to you. Our agency has certain guidlines and ethics that we must adhere to concerning our profession, but I have no problem discussing how you operate your business from one business owner to another.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! In between my years of reporting and scoping I've taught/dictated at a couple of reporting schools here in Kansas. It sounds like you've got the right attitude to get through school. It's definitely lots of hard work and practice. Best of luck!!
How have you been? I haven't seen you in awhile and I'm hoping all is well with you! I know you aren't taking any academics, but I wanted to let you know that we have a speaker coming this Tuesday, October 13. Jonnell Agnew from Pasadena will be our speaker. Don't know if you have already heard her speak, if not, come by and sit in on the class! Have a great weekend!
Hey Christine.. your website is awesome!! Congrats!! Welcome to the world of 190 goal speed... I downloaded your 1000 most frequently used words sheet from your website. Thanks.. what a great tool!! We need to know these in our sleep :)
Keep on cranking out the practices.....cuz even in real life...guess what...it's a new depo, new voices, speeds...it's like a test every single time you go out there....so be as ready as you can be and sitting pretty secure in your speed before going to the CSR...as my old teacher would say, write something for everything..even if it's a bit trashy..better to have something than a blank!!!! Good luck, and again, thanks for chatting me up!

Yeah, I need to get working towards that RMR. It's just been so, so long since I've studied, and I really haven't had time to do so this year.
Keep at it, you're almost there! Please don't hesitate to e-mail or call me if I can help you out with anything!
