It's been slower than usual the last few months.  Just a slump, I hope.  

Thanks for contacting me, Kelli - Washington, DC doesn't always follow trends like "real" states do, I think.  But it has been slow enough for me to travel for the kind of work I want, and it is a slow road back to recovery.  Costa Rica has dried up a little, too (it always follows the trends from the States) but I do think things are coming back.  I find I still have very little time to catch up on any other parts of my life! 

How is the lay-o-the-land in your neck of the woods?  (You can tell I'm originally from Kansas now, can't you?)  My best to you, and thanks so much for bringing back CSRnation!  Lori

Well, first night on new mattress............don't like it so far.  I'm a little stiffer this morning and was too hot!  It has memory foam in the top, plush top, and I'm wondering if I am feeling the heat from that?  I think a new bed should feel pretty good even the first night on it.  My old bed wasn't all that bad, but thought I should get a new one after ten years.  So I don't know............it felt the best after three solid days of bed shopping and laying on different beds.    

What's everyone's experience after their first night on a new bed?  Does it take getting used to or should you know right away?

He is a pretty thing, isn't he?  But no, not Birman or anything too exotic.  His mama was a black-and-white cat, but his papa apparently was a Siamese.  All the girl kittens were b&w; all the boys Siamese.  He looks completely Siamese.  I've never had one before, but I have to tell the haters that he's not standoffish and snooty.  He's such a lovebug!  He follows me when I leave the room, comes up for cuddles in the morning, licks my nose.  He's sweet.

Couple winters ago, we had a LOT of snow, and I posted a story about Clem and the snow.  It's here somewhere on my page.
