I'm really sorry but I've never had that happen. Now, I don't use the X7 -- too expensive for my blood LOL -- so I don't know if that's the problem or not.
I use realtime macros constantly and have had no problems.
I thought I read somewhere -- maybe it was from Dorothy over at CR-Net -- that said something similar was probably a baud rate issue, but since you had it working for a while, up until the macro, and then it went weird on you. But I'm certain you checked the baud rates already.
I use a Netgear travel router, $35 or so, renamed the router to "Realtime" and sign onto it. I have my Bridge output to file in a folder named RT1 and I make that folder sharable. I know that's not the right terminology, but you get the picture. I also, with the help of Dorothy a while ago -- and I can get you this info in written form if you need it 'cause I got it somewhere, I'm sure -- named my computer so that when I start Bridge on an attorney's computer, I click Connect and in the box that opens up, I type in \\tim and my computer shows up with just that folder available and then I can navigate to the file I'm using. That's it. You can also hook up as many attorneys as you want to. They don't even need to be in the room -- if they're not too far away -- you know, maybe the next conference room.
I hear ya about doing your own work. Hate to do it but you have to keep the doors open till it picks up a bit. It seems to be picking up, but I won't hold my breath. We get as many cancellations. It turned out both my 3-day arbs went kafluey. A lot of waiting time for the reporter today and settlement and tomorrow's supposed to be one day only. Are you going to Vegas? I've signed up just to do something other than my husband's stuff to keep my perspective.
I know someone who wants to buy my Lightspeed. Should I give it up since I haven't touched it in 6 months? If she buys it she'll probably call you for tweaking. Maybe she'll have better luck than I did.
Gotta get back to packing for a mini trip to Sacto tomorrow morning.
Hey, Jenny,
I went to the Magnum Steno web site after we got off the phone. They are having a seminar in Vegas June 6. Funny, because I had just been checking out prices for going to Vegas for a trip...just might do this one!
When our daughter was giving us fits at age 16, we made a family decision to send her up to Monterey Bay Academy for her junior year in high school. It is an Adventist boarding school. She wanted to go, and we wanted her to get away from a few undesirable peers, so . . .
That's when I saw my first fields of artichokes. I thought they were amazing.
I didn't know they grew here until our 17 YAOERLD was in the third grade and had a wonderful teacher -- earthy, holistic, etc., -- and she turned us back on to gardening. My husband and I both were raised with vegetable gardens, so we were pretty easily won over.
My neighbors and friends see the artichokes and freak out. Our garden is on a tee box on a golf course, and the golfers will hang on our fence, looking at the garden, and the one thing that freaks them out is the artichokes.
They bloom absolutely beautful, too. They look like a giant thistle.
I really want to try asparagus and broccoli. That same teacher told us they grow well here, and we've never found them in the stores here. She told us we needed to mail order them.
Boy, it breaks my heart reading Kathy's post and reassures me I made the right decision of sending mine back as early as I did.
Jenny: I found your name at Greta's page. I was writing to her to see if she had any tips for my LS. I am at the point where I want to either throw it against a wall, stomp on it or -- well, if you've been frustrated with it, you understand. My machine was fine until they overtook the machine through the internet and did a firmware update. Then it was all downhill. Mark K. got it working last week but now it's not working again -- sometimes intermittently but I can't trust it -- and even if not in front of the writer, keys begin firing off and writing is garbage. Wait three hours and try again and it works. Go figure! In the meantime, I cannot use it for any job and it is sooooooooo stressful for me that it's not worth it. Do you have any hope to give this reporter? I now carry my old writer AND the LS so things aren't lighter for me at all and clients are fed up with me trying the LS and it failing. HELP!!! Looking for hope, Kathy (in Vista)
I cooked artichokes today and, while they were cooked too long because I forgot about them, they were delicious. (I was making a tamale pie and wet burritos for the boys and forgot about the artichokes.)
They came from our vegetable garden. Everything seems to taste better when it comes from the garden. :)
Eciipse said no. I'm not all that important, so I figured that would be their response. I am really going to write the check right now and get it in the mail. I'm tired of farting around. (You didn't lose your coffee again, did you?)
There's a chance I might get a new judge as early as next week, so I really need to move on and get going with the new software so I can use that scopist I told you about.
That is so sweet! And I never saw the ultracute bunnie you send on April 10! Adorable.
Karen is here. She's running around doing things for me. She's going to take me to the doctor at 3:00 and then some errands if I can stand it. Tomorrow I'm going to take the laptop you gave me (which I use all the time - what a lifesaver!) and just browse around on CSRNation to catch up on what's going on.
So I must have saved it from a drowning death, and there he goes and stings me. I wish he was really that cute. :)
So Eclipse says 3100 plus tax, and the broker doesn't charge the tax. I requested one more time to please let me buy it direct -- of course I promised them I would try to be right with those top seven Eclipse realtime contest qualifiers, but they probably don't need another one. HA!
Yeah, will play a bit more tomorrow. Job is at 6:30. Tripts are caught up, so can play. Have pics to edit from my 2nd Glamour sessions Saturday tho, so will do those tomorrow too. Thanks for your help!!! Excited to see if I feel a difference.

Don't mean to ramble.
Let me know what you find out from support.

It's just . . . a day. How did you know I needed that? :)

Anyway, have a great Monday!

Roger is getting lots of attention for a male.
Did you see my SOS cat video in the Magnum steno group?
