Hi, Robin. My name is Kristi Baxter, and I'm a court reporter in Dallas, and have a daily copy arbitration starting up on 10/6-10/17. I'm interested in getting some help with this as I will be taking the 1-6 p.m. shift on a couple of these days. I would have to send you the transcript and audio files on breaks. Could you please let me know if you're available and what you're rates are.

Hi Robin, my name is LuAnn Parks. I'm a reporter/videographer. I am considering using a scopist from now on with my reporting work, since I'm really busy with the legal video business now. I just don't have time to sit down and transcribe anymore. but I still occasionally sit down and take a deposition or serve in court when needed. I use Stenovations/DigitalCat. Are you able to receive the audio files? And if so, what are your page rates and turnaround times? Thanks!

Thanks for your response! My little cutie starts preschool tomorrow for the first time, boo-hoo! I'm not sure if I'm ready for it!

I have a friend who's supposed to help me with Eclipse, but she built a house and hasn't had the time! I guess I'll muddle through these tutorials. Ugh!

Robin, I'm in the process of learning Eclipse, kind of teaching myself. Do you think it's a hard software to learn? I used Premier Power and then Case CAT after that, so I've only had Stenograph products. Eclipse seems to be a totally different animal!!

Thanks for adding me as a friend!

Robin,
I would have added a "grin" to that comment, but I guess it's not allowed. Maybe a smiley? No?!
Now I'm in trouble -- can't see your message here.

From memory, then: I'm still in training on voice and steno. Just got the Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 10 upgrade. Voice is working much better for me, 180 wpm on the first day! Hopefully I'll be captioning in a couple of years.

She was aerating the eggs. When we had first set up the tank, our cichlid was acting strange. We found a zillion eggs that she was protecting and aerating on flat rock. We went through purchasing the maternity tank that you transfer them to and hang inside your tank. Did all the reading up on caring for the baby fish, all to discover that without the male cichlid to fertilize the eggs, they were just caviar. She ate them. Every so often she'd go through the motions. The oscar would go through the "mating" ritual with her, but he couldn't fertilize her eggs.

Oh, no, nothing that big. I love the Oscars, though. If I had a larger tank, I would get some. Angelo used to have some, he said. I have Red Tags and Black Mollys (yeah, really), and the Molly looks like a Dalmation, black and white spotted with dots, just too cool, and he's got the best personality of any I've ever had. The Red Tag is very bright red with a black fins and tail, and she's the one who had the babies. I noticed she had been at the bottom of the tank a lot lately, but I just figured she was acting weird, which she doesn't have the personality of the Molly. I hope they don't get eaten by the time I get to the pet store. Yikes! I think this tank in only15 gallons or so.

Hey, Robin!

I love your picture and your page here. You'll have to tell me how to make mine that pretty, I guess the wallpaper.

Guess what? One of my two fish had two babies. Now I have to go to the pet store tonight and buy a net so the two big ones don't eat the babies. EEEW, but it happens.

Still busy this week? I am! :o)

I drive in. So much better...you hear your radio, drink your coffee....no one is sleeping or snoring next to you. lol lol I used to take the bus when I first moved here and it added an hour to my commute with the stops that I was getting home exhausted. Now when my job is done, I get in my car and go.
I work for a few offices in NY and Ca

Well, I live right over the border between NJ/Pa off of Rt. 78.....directly west of NY. It actually takes me an hour and a half to get to work if downtown and 2 hours to Midtown.....goes fast though. After construction on 78, the traffic great now. I can't give up the money I make in NY and I work part time...that's because I live in Pa. You can have your dream house and you don't have to work 5 days a week to just pay the mortgage. You live in NJ.....I know you know what I mean with how the real estate is in NJ. But we love Pa. We are 25 mins away from most skiing places....We all go or I drop off the kids and pick them up later in the day, and the everything is near by. We moved here 6 years ago and it's great. You would love it.
