I am struggling to 'get' the 'so that' ones!! My poor brain can't think stacked, LOL! I LOVE these tho, so hoping it comes around soon!
SR is what I use for the 'have'....I've taken what Mark started in the -to go/-to be/etc phrases and built it into other ones.
Yes, I just asked Clay. He's my (weekend) resident expert on the Magnum Steno theory. :)

have to go STROG
have to be STROB
have to do STROD

Hi, Barb! Great to see you here!!

You, too, Rhoda and Trina!
LOL, I just cringe at the stacked ones. I've defined w/the -FT like the others for now....I love MS!! The book is awesome! I have Mark's book from years ago...the small, thin one.
Yvette,

I love that "have to be sure" and "have to say."
isn't it true STRAONT I always liked that one
Wow! I love those "have to ..." stacks. I also am a MangumSteno Club member, and Mark just amazes me with his writing methods! When I bought his Stenomaster theory book a year or so ago, I read it from cover to cover as quickly as I could. Having previously learned Phoenix theory, I was emotionally conflicted -- happy that I found Stenomaster theory yet depressed that I had spent (wasted) so much time with Phoenix theory! The funny thing was that for several months, my writing speed suffered and my head really ached as I tried to upgrade my dictionary and shorten my writing!! It was just really too much to comprehend in such a short amount of time. Consequently, I have been waiting to purchase Mark's new book because I don't want to "gorge" my brain like I did last time! Now, I really look forward each day to his phrase and instructional videos! And his speed videos, they kick my butt!! But I am getting faster.
Yes, Gary, sometimes I just need to step back and take a smaller bite.

My son passed me long ago, and he laughs when he finds out the outlines I'm still working on, like "so that."

I probably should have gotten that one a very long time ago, BUT I keep plugging along at my pace, and, no matter what, my writing really is getting better every day.

Keep us posted on your progress!
I'm plugging still on that one too, Tami. Felt better today. Will give it a go tomorrow on a job! We need to hang in there!
Rho
"so that" on the left side is STHAO.

So your outline would be "so that that"

I actually use -TZ for my final "that," but I think that's what Mark's final "that" is.

Baby steps . . .

Have a great day, Girls!
Ummmm, okay, so who turned the light on in here? I was not getting STHAO...I was thinking why not just STHA? But I see now that the "o" comes from "so." What the heck was my deal in not seeing that? LOL

I think I can baby-step this puppy.
In those bunny slippers of yours!! :)
