Hi. I am a new reporter. I am trying to email a job that I zipped. It keeps saying the file is too large. Should I not have something checked off?? If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.
You can send a file including audio also. Try Sendthatfile.com. Also, I haven't tried it, but I notice on CSRnation there's a tab at the top that says Send Files. You might give that a try also. Useful if you're sending files to a scopist.
Thanks for your advice. I will try this next time. I realized that when I originally sent the file with the audio. When I was resending it without the audio checked, it was still telling me my file was to large because I did not save it as a different file name so the audio was still attached. Thanks for all responding. It's nice to know there is help out there if needed.
Hi Kathleen,
If you are trying to send audio, you can't do it by regular e-mail. go to sendthisfile.com and you can send any size file for no charge. If you are sending to another Case user you can just send a back up file. If you are sending to a nonCase user, you have to create an ascii.
Hope this helps...
most email servers have a maximum size limit for email attachments... I use either www.dropbox.com (2GB limit) or another I like is www.Adrive.com (50GB for Free).
You can use You send it for free and I sent large files (including audio) for quite some time. If you have a lot of files to send eventually You send it will ask you to upgrade, and then if you pay $59 per year, you can send multiple files and also larger files.
