Now, there's an idea.  Don't have one.  Would love to hear if anyone is.

So awesome that Eclipse has that capability for attorneys now.

I'm not hooking up my machine to my iPad but do proof transcripts on it with PDF Expert.  Love that app.

But, Susan, you are not scoping your trans, just proofing?

Yeah - just for proofing purposes only in lieu of proofing from my computer and/or paper.  Unfortunately I don't know of a way to connect and write directly from my writer to the iPad... but fingers crossed that technology will hit someday.

There is an app called iSteno from --  I forget which CAT system.  I downloaded it on my iPad and it is really interesting.  You can buy an overlay for your iPad for $45 to place on the screen so you can feel where the keys are supposed to be.  I think you can load your own dictionary in it.  I just played with it, and found the different dictionaries included to be informative.  I am too old for computer compatible theory, and I was learning things I didn't know from the included dictionaries.  Never too old to learn.  You also might be able to connect it to your system.  Check it out, the app is free.
