Tami,
Yes, I'm sure there are crowbars needed to accomplish this insurmountable task. And you probably also hear the line "Did you even take a breath in that paragraph?" followed by laughter -- sheesh!!

Follow-up to the "rupture" brief Mark just gave us. And I'm probably the only one who does this, but don't forget to enter all the variations of a new brief you are incorporating, i.e., the past tense, tucking the G, and the plural.

I "now" use it too and "know" it. :)

Of course not, Christine! My family has to pry things out of me. :)

Loved the "oops!" story. Too cute!

It's LANG for me, too, Bece, for as long as I can remember. I know use the -Z for the plural since I got corrupted by Mark's theory.

Mark,
Thanks so much for your "rupture" brief yesterday! It came in handy at my deposition.

Tami,
You little Chatty Cathy you. Sometimes that is the hardest part of our job, NOT talking. Is anyone else a little chatterbox when they get home, having had to sit quietly for hours and hours?

My first year as a reporter, the questioning attorney kept forgetting a key word -- almost every question. He would pause a long time and then remember it. Finally, as he was uttering, um, um, um, I couldn't control myself any longer, and I blurted out the word for him. OOPS! Opposing counsel gave me the evil eye. Well, now I focus on doing my job -- quietly :)

I do LANG and LANGS
Comment by Bece Kidder on September 22, 2009 at 20:49
Okay. So I practiced this morning and Mark was very helpful with the Indian, India briefs, but then languages came up, I don't know, 56 million times and I don't have a brief for that.
I am now practicing again and I desperately need a brief for language.
Anyone got a good one?

Speak for yourself, Christine. ;)

I hate follows. I just go where I like to go, and then good luck getting rid of me.

Tami,

I sent Monti a note about it. This is the third occurrence of a glitch in the "follow group." Not a big deal. I just know when all is "quiet on the Western front," it's really not. We're a chatty bunch, aren't we?

Interesting ... I don't seem to get disconnected from my Follows ... but then again, I don't log out, either. Maybe that's it ...?
