I've recently become available for scoping/proofreading again. I worked as a scopist/editor using Eclipse at the Royal Courts of Justice (Supreme Court of England and Wales), as well as the International Court of Justice at the Hague and the International Dispute Resolution Center in London. I also have some experience editing depositions. Please contact me if you have editing/proofing needs that I can assist with, thanks.
Eclipse Scopists...if you have been contacted by a reporter from New York, initials PC, please get in touch with me. If you have done work for her and had a problem getting paid, please get in touch with me. Thanks.
I am looking for work as a notereader or scopist. I have extensive training in multiple stenotype theories and can, from the very start, prepare an accurate transcript directly from your stenotype notes or CAT. Because I have been trained in punctuation and research, the job will be complete and ready for you to proofread. I am willing to purchase the CAT software that you use.
It will be fun to see whether anyone tiptoes in and changes it to "reporters"!
I had noticed too, but my mother and I made the mistake of correcting someone's grammar on FB once, and no one appreciated it. LOL
Hey, Bradley, you're right. I wonder why nobody else has mentioned it.
Heh...I just noticed a typo in the "If you are a scopist" blurb at the top of this page.
Hi there, Ann. I e-mailed you and left a comment on your personal wall. I would love to talk to you about scoping.
Thanks!
Delicia
I am looking for an experienced Eclipse scopist to help with a three-day job. I took Day 1 Friday. I'm taking Day 2 tomorrow and I'll take Day 3 on Thursday. Day 1 was somewhat technical. I don't know about Days 2 and 3. There is a five-day turnaround on this job.
Payment will not be an issue.
Interest parties please email me at annmedis@verizon.net with your rates and years of experience. Thank you all.
Ann
Hi All! I'm a StenoCat Scopist, about to purchase an Eclipse Key, also. I've been scopng for about 12 or 13 years, attended court reporting school, and I am expanding my business. I have two scopists under me right now using StenoCat, but as I said, we'll be getting Eclipse soon. If anyone is interested in needing scopists, please feel free to email me at reina.crowe@gmail.com. I am currently working on my website for the business.
Hope everyone has a wonderful evening! :)
