Hey, Amy! I have been so neglectful of my page! How did your quarter end up? I'm still struggling a bit with speed, but it's coming. Mostly, I think I really face the pressure of the time - it just feels like I need to get this all done yesterday and today is too late! LOL!
Saw your comment from Tami and I have the older Kislingbury book, "Stenomaster Theory" but I am looking into getting his new book and possibly taking his online classes, too - we shall see. Holler back and let me know how you are doing and what class you will be in for the January quarter and who your teacher is - I need to go to the website now and find out.
I'm not real up on online schools. I don't know what speed you're at, but if you're in the high speeds, Mark Kislingbury just emailed me this week that he started his online speedbuilding class. I think it's intended to work together with a school (on or off line) or for working reporters wanting to improve their skills. It's only 29. a month, so it's a steal of a deal. You can learn more on Magnumsteno.com.
He's an awesome teacher and just has a passion for writing and is always willing to share his success.
If you still want to email me, it's Frazierfami7@verizon.net.
Candis Bradshaw over on Depoman.com has a lot of info on schools. A student just inquired about them in the last couple days over on that site, and she's been very helpful as usual.
Think CRID has not been held in the highest regard over on Depoman, if I remember correctly
Amy! Sorry I didn't reply back when you posted - I've just sort of hibernated this past semester - we aren't in the same class this semester - what speed are you in and who do you have it with!? Holler back if you can!
