Rumor that LiveNote will use the Bridge protocols to refresh on StenoCast ... 9 Replies

Anyone heard this?  I'm trying to find a moment to call someone at LiveNote and see if this is true.  That would be so great, if it's possible.Continue

Thanks, Laura.  I'll try that command when I get home.

I took my minis back at lunch, and the corrections are coming through.  Don't know what was wrong this morning, but it seems to be working now.  Thanks SO MUCH all!

LOVE this site!!!  Thanks, Kelli!  Xoxo

Should be working then.  You have your output set to Bridge/Lawbridge 38400 with Apply Edits checked like Jenny mentioned?

I have #* (asterisk and number bar together) defined as {M:Retransmit Text - RT}.  I don't remember if that's a standard macro or one I made.  If you don't have it, you can create it.  It's just Cmd: Retransmit Text.  If I make a correction and want to send it out immediately, I hit that on my writer and it refreshes right then and there.

Using red.

Quyen, are you using the red dongles with your Stenocast RED?  Blue ones won't refresh Bridge because they're set for 2400 instead of 38400.

You need to move off the paragraph you've made changes in or press Shift Alt R to refresh.  A lot of the RT writer macros have the Shift Alt R included in them.

There's a new version of Bridge, 2.2.0.3, that was posted last week.  I used it all day yesterday and the day before on two computers, and it worked beautifully on both.

Is not immediate for me.  Don't know what's wrong. :(

Immediate!

Is the Bridge refresh immediate?  Or does it do it in intervals of, say, 30 minutes, an hour, etc.?

Thanks, Jenny.

Mimo monitor . . . I finally got Eclipse 4 set up to work just the way I want it, so I think I'll leave E5 alone for now.  Just too much effort to learn something new.  :)

If you never delete that output, it will stay.  But if you delete it, and add it again later, you will need to check the edit box again.

That is my Mimo monitor I purchased for my auto-briefs.

It is absolutely indispensable to me now, and I shall never be without it!
