I've been working on brief phrases and these have worked great for me. Easily incorporated in my writing.
you know: AUN. (I defined this one in my dictionary surrounded by commas)
like I said: LAEKDS
off the top of my head: FOPD
does that make sense: SD-KS
do you understand the difference between a guess and an estimate: DOUNDZ

Oh, good. I'm glad they helped you. I have never had an outline for "Messrs." and I hesitate every time it comes up so this will be a real help to me. :-)
