Thanks for the reply, Michelle. Here's my question and I hope it's not too confusing.
I've looked at the website for the certification board in Texas. I'm so confused by what forms I need to fill out and send in. Even though I have national certifications, I'd rather not go that route with a letter only because it seems to me it could take a while.
Can I just fill out the regular registration for a first-time test taker and take the test?
It looks like there are two or three forms to fill out and send in.
Am I making any sense?

That's great; glad to hear it.

I'm new on the site and really enjoying having a community to be a part of. I've never really joined similar communities in the past but now that I'm not on the road commuting and am inside more I can see that it will be a place I visit often.

And, since we're in the same geographic area, I know you (like I) will be glad when the hot summers and hurricane season are over!
