Oh, Kelli. I just scrolled down a bit to see you lost a kitty. I am a total cat lover and have two females: Gidget and Shelbie. The cutest. I hope you find yours.
I'm really sorry your lost your kitty. To me, at least, it hurts as much as losing a close family member.
They're amazing and sweet and silly and sometimes a royal pain. My Bengal is called Gucci, 'cause he's a designer cat, yes, he's as vocal as any cat I've ever known. :-) I saw his picture when he was five weeks old and fell in love with him even before I met him, and I still love him beyond all reason...even when he steals things like plastic-wrapped packages of things like paper towels, destroys them, and carries them to the other end of the house and hides them under the bed.
I know a lot of people are against pure-bred animals, but I got Gucci from Holly at www.enchantedtails.com. She's pretty terrific.
I'm frantically trying to cover a San Francisco job tomorrow morning. I've attempted to set up the payment for the Bay Area group, but Pay Pal won't complete the transaction. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you about Drop Box. I left on Friday for my cousin's wedding, and I haven't been on my computer all weekend. (Which was soooo nice!!!) Haven't done that in years :)
I saw that you got everything up and running, but if you need anything else, you can give me a call - 925.330.2149. Lori
Kelli, no, it's not like learning the software all over again! If you have time today, I seriously advise you to go ahead and download version 5. Then call support and have them walk you through doing the update so you are on the latest version. That update is on the website. Make sure your path is correct. The key thing is to keep your version 4. Simply make a copy of your block files and put them all in version 5. That way you are keeping your version 4 block files and your version 5 block files separate. You will only be fetching - when you are in version 5 - your copied version of your block file so you will never have to convert them over. I am in a big rush now trying to do the rough draft from yesterday, but I will be around later today to answer any questions. Do it when you have time. If that is today, get it over with. Version 5 is great!
Kelli, I had a video RT depo in SF yesterday, and Alexei Dias was the videographer. He told me how absolutely BEAUTIFUL you are looking these days after learning more about nutrition. Very inspiring! You must post more pics!
Hi Kelli, What happened to Good Pay/Bad Pay? I'm having major problems trying to collect from a depo agency. Is there a place on the website that can help me figure out the small claims process? I'm so sad and frustrated. In eight years of reporting, all agencies have been so forthright, except for one. and they owe me quite a bit.
Hi, Kelli. Nope. This is Diane Smith aka Smith Reporting in San Francisco. And, funny, I was wondering if you were the Kelli Combs that I know from the Bay Area, but I see from your picture and name spelling...not. Just trying to get my feet wet here and figure out how to join some groups to find work when I need it or finds reporters when I have some that needs covered, or just keep aware of the latest news, etc. So thanks for the welcome.
Well, if you think this is bad, I had a depo on Thursday that went into the specifics of what happens to menopausal women. Dang! I just sat there, cringing. Even though I am menopausal, I have not had any of "those" issues... and hope I never do. I'll take my glasses any day of the week over what they were talking about.
Readers don't cut it for me any longer (my prescription ones are awful for computer work). I've gone to "computer reading glasses" for my computer work. At first I was using a pair I bought from Staples, but the were this gawd-awful yellow tint, made it appear I was wearing sunglasses indoors during depos. I just recently purchased some online, much better looking but, UFL, not as good as the yellow tinted ones. Must keep appearances up (vain? yup!), so yellow tinted ones at home and the clear ones on depos!
I did. But she brought me too blonde and then I had really bad roots from my natural color (washed out dark-dark blonde). Since I (luckily) still have more natural color rather than gray, it was actually best to go a rich brown with a hint of red.
Wait till your eyes start failing, then you can't see the gray.

Ach, guess I need a proofreader, huh?
Anyway I was wrong about Holly's website, too. It's enchanted-tails.com.

thank u so much for inviting the Eclipse users.....it's really taking off!
i posted in the officials group, too, thinking there may be some Version 5 users in there, too. i hope they see the invite.
Kelli, I wanted to post a link to a craigslist job posting for a reporter, but I didn't know if that's okay within your guidelines here.
If you want to post it yourself, that's fine by me. Here it is: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/ofc/2670437582.html
