Thanks, Kathy

what about the ones I just posted?  do you have a nonasterisk method for them?

Comment by Kathy Langstaff on March 24, 2012 at 9:28

I use the asterisk sparingly.  I often use the R instead of the asterisk.  One of my favorite phrase series is:  LAOURK - look like - LAOURKS - looks like - LAOURKD - looked like.  I hadn't really thought of it before, but I guess I could do looking like as LAOURG since I do looking LAOG.

Well, that's a pretty wide topic, Wynne.  Briefs for what?  I use asterisk...but not for every single brief.

You could do NALZ for analyze and NAULZ for annualize.  That would work.

I have a conflict.

analyze

annualize

Any ideas?

Are there any nonasterisk users out there who would like to share their briefs or phrases?

Comment by Karen Kidwell on March 20, 2012 at 6:32

Just did some deps and wanted to share some briefs I thought up after working on Mark K.'s briefs.

Actually, I got that wrong, LOL!  I do ultimatum AOUPLT.  LAOUPLT is illuminate, and LAOUPLGS is illumination.  It's hard to remember when you're not at the steno keyboard!

Comment by Janiece Young on March 14, 2012 at 16:08

I like those ideas, Kathy
