I have a Stenocast Red system but do not have the drivers. Can anyone recommend a site where I can download a safe driver for this product? Thanks,Dennis ZambataroContinue

I have always used cables for realtime. I have two loaner computers that I always seem to be using and haven't hooked up to an attorney's computer in I can't remember how long. I use CaseView and…Continue

Anyone heard this? I'm trying to find a moment to call someone at LiveNote and see if this is true. That would be so great, if it's possible.Continue

500 is a good deal for the StenoCast Red system with three blue keys. But if you're on Eclipse, the blue keys are for CaseCAT, at least that's what they told me when I made the purchase. So keep in mind that Case will not refresh with the Red system (unless whoever is selling it to you had it reprogrammed for Eclipse), and that is the very beauty of the Red. The Red system will refresh (show changes you make on attorneys' loaner laptops) if you use it with Eclipse and Bridge (RT viewing software). If you're okay with that, then I say go for it!
I have an opportunity to purchase a Red and 3 Blues. I'm on Eclipse. Tired of the cords and hear that this is the way to go. Can get for 500. Thoughts?
I just got the updated EZ Send device from Stenocast that replaces the old X7. My device is working great but I've heard from others that they are still having issues, even after sending in for updated firmware after they purchased it. I was wondering how others were doing with it as well? If you are using EZ send, do you have any issues?
Stenocast told me to review my manual, too, but they didn't give me one!
Have you red the manual? You can download it here. Also look at the frequently asked questions:

I’m using Eclipse and Bridge with the RED, but the feed is not refreshing.
Refreshing is a function of your CAT software not the StenoCast RED. The RED (Refresh Enabled Device) allows refreshed transcripts to be sent to a client computer.
I don't know anything about CC and Stenocast, but I do have two Stenocast blue dongles which I use if I'm outputting to CaseviewNet or a viewing program that won't refresh with Eclipse. (I've only tested them. I don't ever want to do that because I edit too much while writing!)
Thanks, Jenny. I'm on Catalyst so that's where the confusion was. So do you need the Stenocast in order to refresh with Bridge? I'm understanding that Stenocast, no matter what, can't refresh with Stenograph Catalyst...but since I ordered Stenocast in October and delivery finally in January, and bugs still not worked out, I have no clue of any of the benefits.
Bridge is a free viewing program created by Advantage Software. If you use Eclipse, edits you make while on the job will show up on the Bridge program in front of the attorney or judge. That's called refreshing. So if I say that my RT macro didn't refresh on Bridge, it means that only my Eclipse transcript reflects the edit I made, and that means something has to be done to make it refresh so the attorney sees it as well.
Is Bridge anything to do with Stenocast? Just getting confused. I haven't got my Stenocast up and running yet.
I've loved the Stenocast concept, paid $1100 for the system and still I'm using cables. Stenocast hasn't been able to help me. After all, they have my money so no real reason to try. I love the concept of the system but I've had nothing but trouble. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm constantly holding my breath. At least with the cables, I never have a problem.
