Did you know that you can customize the size of your cursor width in Eclipse? It really helps me to have my hyperkeys cursor nice and fat so when I press n to actually type, my typing cursor gets really skinny. That way I always know what I'm in without moving my eye down to find the toolbar HYP or TYP notation.
It's under User settings/Display - kind of in the middle. I have my cursor size set to 36 and my hyperkey size at 93.
