Got up at 3:00 a.m. yesterday, took a cab to the Austin airport, 6:30 flight to St. Louis, drove a rental car two and a half hours in the pouring rain to teach Eclipse software to some future court reporters in Southern Illinois. Usually when it's raining, students don't show up, but they were there.

Happy New Year: Hey, here's where I am....I'm at 180 wpm, have student version of Eclipse, and my funding (from Ford Motor Company) dried up, and stuck in the middle of having to learn the software on the fly. With a name like Guvernator, it's so hard to fly under the radar! Thanks for letting me know my license agreement got there. I'm looking forward to getting into Eclipse and finally starting to build my dictionary. (Does that mean I'll have to learn to stroke "institutionalization" the same way every time?)
