Just finished deps, so if I sounded curt or repetitive, that's why.  If you don't want spaces, take out the tildes in the metadix entry.

Roberta-Anne, the way I write ellipses doesn't make sense to anyone else.  It's HR-F.  I sort of use the -F as a function symbol -- H-F for dashes (I know, should be hyphen; oh well!), P-F for paragraph, L-F for ellipses.

That's what I thought after I looked at the entry a little closer, thinking by putting the tildes in there it creates a space.

I write my ellipsis as FPLT/FLPT/FPLT, since FLPT is a period for me.

{...} is just the entry.  the {~} in the metadix gives the spaces

I write it as DAOTS.  I adapted that from someone else on here, but I can't remember who it is, so I can't/won't take the credit for it.  :)

But just for clarification, I could define it as {...} with no space, but because of the metadix entry, it will come out with spaces, correct, Brenda?
