I hope you had a nice weekend. I actually took Sunday off and just enjoyed going to the movies and hanging out with my husband. We went and saw Batman, and Christian Bale is soooo hot!!! I just love him.

Anyways, I was wondering if you work for firms or if you have your own clients? I am asking, because I have a few clients that have cases in L.A., and I am just starting out on my own and wondering if you have any suggestions for L.A. rates?

Also, I noticed that Audrey left you a message talking about get-togethers, and I'm wondering if you know of any that might happen regularly in San Diego?

Ruth's Chris - yummy! We filled up on appetizers while hanging out in the bar area. I'll buzz you if/when I hear of any local reporter get-togethers. It usually ends up we all run into each other in law firm lobbies and/or holiday parties, huh? Maybe I'll put something together by the end of the year (?) Until then . . .

Thank you so much for writing to me. I really loved the old wedding photo you have in your photo album. Is that a picture of your parents on their wedding day?

I also have a dog and her name is Stella. I have a daughter who is 10 and her name is Zoe. I often jokingly tell Zoe that I love Stella more than her because she never talks back and she thinks I'm great!!!
