I just joined your group and am really looking forward to hearing positive comments to help me get past speed test hurdles. Best wishes to all of you getting ready for your certification tests.

The court reporting school at Downey has some great free drills posted on their site, including Tangle Tamers. Google "DAS court reporting". I think it is in the student section.
does anyone know of a good place to find free finger drills or of an inexpensive but comprehensive book of them? I think courtreportinghelp.com is no longer working -- at least the links arent and the emails bounce back.
I have basic keyboard finger drills but Im looking more specifically for numbers and word drills (somwheat like tangle tamers which I have been unable to find anywhere)

Hi Fran, I am new to CRing. I work in a court house but my job really does not have anything to do with the CRing but I dislike my job now and I really believe that I would enjoy doing this. I am anxious to get started!!
I'm trying to talk my son into taking the RMR. I think he's seriously considering it. He's already going for the CRR, so it would be a tough day, but I know he can do it. He just started back doing the Magnumsteno.com Club, so I think he'll be ready.
So . . . after you get that RPR under your belt, Jackie, keep going!!
(Sorry. I do have a tendency to get ahead of myself, BUT once you're in the testing mode, you might as well not stop. Those additional letters behind your name will open up many doors for you.)
