If you want high energy without the caffeine jitters; if you want to feel totally satisfied and never hungry, juice every vegetable you can think of, including beets, garlic, etc... Get a Juicing book to help you understand what foods do what for your body. I love to do it all to get the maximum benefits out out of it. Whatever I can't find, I supplement with vitamins or meal replacement shakes, etc.

Let me just also say: Because I bore easily, I also keep a pot of Kale, Kollard, and/or turnip greens on hand for lunch to go with some fish or chicken. I also have premade cabbage soup or vegetable soup that I've made and frozen for later use. I keep prunes and wheat germ on hand to go into my homemade smoothies to move things along very easily. LOL.

There are a lot of different ways to diet without actually dieting. I love it!

I've heard of Jamba Juice, but I'm not very familiar with it. Is it prepackaged, because you really have to watch out for foods and drinks like that. There's a lot of preservatives and sodium, etc. in things like that. Portions are also important still even when you're juicing, because you can still take in too many carbs from fruits and also vegetables. The key to anything is to burn more than you take in. Juicing gives me the energy to take on my day and all of my six kids, get through school, and work out hard. The great thing about juicing is that everything goes straight through you as a cleanser, and your body doesn't need your much-needed energy to break foods down, which can make you sleepy. It's helping me to loose weight, because I'm only putting the vitamins in my body that it needs, with an occasional treat, so I can stay happy. Doing this, it's improved my mood, my skin, my hair and nails, etc... It's definetly not a diet; It's a lifestyle for me.

Hello everyone... I've just discovered this wonderful thing called "juicing." I don't know how I lived this long without doing it sooner. I get my daily intake of all of my fruits and vegetables, stuff I wouldn't eat raw otherwise. I love my juicer so much that I could do an infomercial. I'm never hungry, and I'm losing weight so fast by juicing and exercising almost everyday. If anybody needs to cleanse/detox, lose weight, clear up your skin and/or eliminate health problems, etc., juicing is the way to go. Forget the supplemements, high energy drinks and starving yourself. I eat seven times a day doing this, and I make sure I get my protein in some way during the day. Gotta go for now, my son just hurt his knee, but I'll fill you in later on how I'm doing.

Bye for now,

Nikki

I so want the Wii fit board, but it's sold out. Dh says it will go the way of the dance mat that I got for the Gamecube.
