Jeanese, well.. at least it is not on the list.
if it makes you feel good then take it, your mental state is very important.
Believe it or not if you mentally think taking this pill will help then it will actually help even if it was a mentos :P

YES! I think you are feeling what I felt when I seriously decided enough is enough and that I had to do something about it.
Its a weird feeling that I cant describe, I felt that I have already lost the weight in the future?

Jeanese, Your countdown has begun!! its in the future, unlike mistakes you have done in the past that you can no longer change... next June is coming like it has been through out history.
So weight loss mentally is based on 2 things. (if there are no disasters)
1- the future is coming.. its an unchangeable fact.
2- In that point in time you will exist.
You have already lost the weight, you just have to reach that day.

From what I read and actually experienced, not eating enough would cause my weight to freeze (even if I am not hungry.. Its not an excuse) never starve yourself because you wont lose any weight.

also, your goals should be based on your waistline and the way you want to look in the mirror. NOT your weight.
many people especially women dwell on their weight, there are so many factors that go in calculating your weight (body mass, mussels, period.. etc)

I want my waistline to be 30, am currently 33 (I hardly weigh myself, who cares if I am 160 and look like crap)

Remember, Exercise, Exercise, Exercise!

I blab too much.. good lord.

Hello Trina,
Walking around Vegas is great but you have to do it at least 5 times a week.
I never been to spagos but eating is the most important part of losing weight... no pill on earth will let you eat what you want and still lose weight, period.
incidentally, last week on NPR they had scientists talk about how to extract fat from the body.
They basically said, as of now they do not know of anyway to extract fat from the body (other than lipo) and breastfeeding.
Breastfeeding is the only thing that literally extracts fat from the body and adds it into the milk.
Scientist are trying to understand how and what breastfeeding does to extract the fat so they can implement it on a bigger scale (as a man, I will have to pass on that method when it comes out)

If you want to lose weight there is sadly one method, eating right and working out.

So you have to really go deep into your mind and the person that you are and change it from its roots. it all starts in your head.
I always wanted to lose weight, i tried many things but I never took it seriously, I always wanted the magic easy way out.. it never worked.
One day I woke and said, enough is enough.

It will be very hard to lose your weight unless you understand the following.
1- Sit down and talk to yourself and convince it to change for good. The battle starts in your head.
2- You WILL have to eat right and work out, no way out of this.
3- It will take time, most of us spend a life time eating garbage (I know I have). your not going to fix this mess in 3 months, period.

Think about it, not everyone can have the "perfect" nose, or a full set of hair.
But everyone and anyone can be fit.

Some people like to start on the 1st of the month for tracking purposes, its easy to remember that you started working out on say 1/1/09.

Hiking, dancing, anything that moves you.
But I recommend a consistent workout that gives you the results at the end of the hour.

Man, nothing like dancing, i used to be so fit when I danced everyday. (I was a break dancer.. lol)

Boost it up slowly and take your time.
ok, you guys need to look into either joining a gym that has this machine.. or maybe even by one.
its like skiing.. its much much easier then running yet it burns the same amount of calories.

Nothing feels better in the world then when you are fit.. simple things like bending to get something off the ground feels like crap when you are overweight.

yesterday I crawled under the table to plug the mics, normally i feel like crap but yesterday I felt like a panther doing it :0)

Jeanese, what level is your thingy on? The resistance and level should be a bit higher. if you are doing it on 1 then 300 sounds about right.
try to raise it and bump it up to an hour till you start getting 600 then you should be fine.
remember, you wont lose weight on the first week or 2.

Do not weight yourself everyday. (once a month)
Do not look at the mirror everyday. (just look at your face)
Get a calender and mark it every single day when you work out.

I promise you in 3 months you will be very happy with yourself.
3 months!!! thats it.. its much easier once you start and understand it mathematically.
and think about it this way, if you have started 3 months ago you would be pretty happy with yourself now.
