If it has anything to do with wiring, coax could be it. There is a wiring harness shaped like a W. Maybe referring to wiring with coaxial wires.

By the way, the word is stud, not stub.

Can anybody help with a word. The interpreter kept saying proax. It's a piece of construction material made out of steel that's shaped like a "w." They place a stub, then they put this proax to continue building the columns

Phil, you're right. I go on those websites to get the most commonly-used spelling and if the description fits what the word is, I go with it. But you are exactly correct. I usually use Dogpile to get the spelling and go further for definition if I need to. Wikipedia is so all over the place.

Veronica & Rachel
Just a warning not to rely on Wikipedia for accuracy since users can enter and change information. Wiki is good for starting your search but it's not to be relied upon.

Rachel, I just sent off a corrected ascii. Cross all your appendages I can have it fixed. If not, I think I'll be forgiven for that one since the rest of the depo made my eyes spin. I must have entered that spelling a dozen times in Wikipedia. That's why I just enter everything in Dogpile. I get more success with that. Must have missed that attempt when I was searching.
Thank you again.

Rachel, that's it. It didn't come up on Wikipedia, but it came up on Dogpile. Thank you! Unfortunately I sent it out last night. I think I'll
try and see if I can have them slip a page in this morning.
Thank you!

Veronica,

take a look at biofidelic....
Comment by Veronica Kubat on April 15, 2009 at 22:13
The best I can figure phonetically is biophydellic. That's what I had to send the transcript out with using (sic). I know it's not right, but it's close. Wouldn't you know it, the guy is in Tennessee and it's an overnight expedite.
:-(
