Hello, I have four children myself and made it to the end of this long road. I been practicing everyday since I started school in February 2007. In the beginning I was getting up at 5:00 to practice for an hour in the morning. Now, I get my rest and practice whenever I have free time throughout the day. I really enjoy practicing to the television and to the Real Time Coach.
Practice does pay off, I passed my first 225 test today. I am so excited.

Happy Monday everyone! Okay....Monday's aren't my favorite. But, my school is having a Fall break, so here I am. My best, personal favorite place to practice is alone in my living room in my jammies!

As far as balancing school, work, and family, it is not at all an easy balance. Most days I go to school two hours a day right now, except on hour on Tuesdays and four on Thursdays. It happens to fall right in the middle of the day so it is practically impossible for me to find a job that I would like. It works out good for taking and picking up the kids for their schools though. I usually try to practice about an hour in the mornings before school......which gives me more time in the evenings with my family. Hope that helps.

Hello, I'm new to CSR Nation (just joined yesterday)! My name is Angelia & I got thru Theory at the Court Reporting Institute of Dallas & had ti drop. I'm planning to re-enroll next semester but do online classes only. I moved out of the area plus I have a baby now. I suppose I will have to start all over with Theory so I can refresh on what I've forgotten but I'm ok with that. I just want to get back in!! I'd love to hear how others balance school, work, family. :-)
