Strict M-W follower: Web site

Comment by Judy on February 12, 2012 at 16:21

I do it "Web site."

Comment by Christina on February 12, 2012 at 16:17

I'm just curious how everyone spells this term.  I normally go by Merriam-Webster's, but in this case, it just doesn't look right.  M-W has "Web site" as correct, but I'm used to seeing "website" everywhere else.  Does anyone use M-W's version?

If you want, you can do that little character by inserting symbol in a Word document and then copy/paste to your transcript. At least it works for Eclipse.

Great detective work, Janet.

I think you'd put it GlaxoSmithKline (GSK:NR)

Comment by Janet on January 11, 2012 at 12:47

It looks like the GSK is a stock exchange ticker (or whatever you call it).  I believe NR means not rated.

GSK:NR. NYSE

The post on how to do the audio snippet was authored by Jennie.  I don't want to take credit for it.
